LLTC!!!

okayyy.
had LLTC B over the weekend.
was pretty good. despite everyone saying hey its boring lah they take away all the fun stuff.



in the morning was DAMN wu liao.
meng hui brought UNO stacko... -,- like wth
so they were playing. while i got owned at chess by eugene
then i joined them.
and we played until there were seriously no more tiles that could be drawn
so i just tried something cool.
i flicked away one of the single tiles in the layer.
and the whole top part just collapsed and fit nicely.
that was damn awesome sia



and then after that we were playing coins. -,-
like seriously. epic boredomness
and douglas had like these two pound coins. basically worth like $6.
and they were freaking huge and heavy.
so it was damn unfair
but anyway yeah. we were damn bored lol.



then after the whole thing with reviewing papers and all.
talk a lot of cock in class with vivek and ji yang (with those two, it was obviously about girls)
then went to hall.
wanted to convince vivek to go. but he didn't pack. (although his OT said he could go without packing. like lol)
so then were waiting outside the hall.
and ji yang was geting nervous seeing the girls around. like lools



saw the group listing only recognised nathan's name...
i was like okay...
then went in.
while suan-ing ji yang abt how he might get girls in his group and he'll totally just collapse or smth.



so then turns out my group had 3 girls, and 1 female OT.
saw nathan, and recognised joel too.
so. alrite. b4 camp knew like 2 ppl.



played some random clock game.
yeah



then after that we started with our first activity outside of school.

thr seemed to be waaay too little ice breakers b4 first acitivity


but oh well.
so we were supposed to walk to little india and interview migrant workers.
like. O.O
okayy....



reached little india split into groups of three.
went with david and ameline.
wandered arnd and stoned tryin to figure out what to do.
then saw joshua and suddhir sitting under some trees talking to some guy.
so we went to the same grass patch and approached two guys.
they were from sri lanka.
didn't have jobs there came to s'pore did many jobs. some paid late and stuff like that.
but they were happy in singapore. unfortunately the govt. rejected their work permit so they're forced to return to sri lanka. =(



wow.
so then after that my small group of three combined with joshua's group of three.
and walked arnd tryin to find a third person to interview.
went to a few shops but in the end didn't find anyone to interview.
went past this supply shop or storage or wadever and it was like full of pigeons
and suddenly they all flew out over our heads. lol



anyway so then went back to the rendevous. and went back to school, where we did reflections.
AFTER that was the welcome. -,-
so yeah. although i forgot what the welcome was all abt anyway.
then dinner.
then some talks.
including some social realities talk by some damn funny brother. (bro collin)
then night reflection and sharing.
slept at like 12.30



woke up next day arnd 6 i think.
had so called PT (which was the same string game we played in melacca)
then breakfast then journey.

journey was visiting an old folks' home for some, other's was poor ppl in toa payoh
one of the places was the gift of love home. o.O
sadly i didn't go thr though
went to st theresa's home instead.
paired up to wheel old folks arnd macritchie (which turned out to be quite close)
paired with hannah.
the old lady couldn't speak english.
so was kinda worried how we were supposed to communicate with her and make the trip meaningful.
but in the end wasn't too bad.
used hand gestures to act friendly and yeah...



saw some canoeists there.
reuven too. (he was totally on my case for being with a girl)


so then we rested at some pavillion.
and we did our loolaloo
and the others did the chicken dance which was damn fail. and yeah.



so then wheeled them back to st theresa's. said goodbye.


y'know one thing i sortof gained from this is that old people aren't all THAT helpless.
cos she could still see and hear (i think) and she could recognise us properly and wave to us.
you know when you see some old ppl who can't feed themselves or walk you think they're totally incapable of doing things. (or at least I do)
so it was kinda surprising when she recognised me and waved.

so yeah.
then after that had lunch.
then games.
first game was filling up a bottle full of holes.
i was the main one holding the holes so i was drenched by the end of the game.
but we won. xD
and we tried to help the other group too lol.
took the whole pail over and poured. but still failed. haha



then after that some funny bucky mcballs thing.
captain's ball with small balls and buckets.
we won. sort of.
but it was basically just chaos.
and we got to throw water bombs at the losing group.



then third game was kebadi.

they had like 12 ppl.
not to mention our group was missing the two fittest ppl



so we basically got owned.
i got owned myself when i attacked.

erm yeah.
so the last game.
which was DAMN joke
it wasn't exactly the game itself which was damn joke,
but rather what happened DURING the game.
the game was holding water in your mouth while playing the broken telephone game.
so hannah was tryin to get the message from i think alessia.
and david was behind her askin her to hurry up cos the other group was basically abt to finish.
so she just kicked behind...
and nailed him right in the balls.
like ouch.



needless to say we lost the game (although we got a laugh out of it. along with the other team)
then i had to go for mass while the others had mass games. (okay there's definitely a pun there somewhere)
although my group just went to shower
during mass i was freakin tired.
so when i was kneeling down i actually fell asleep.

and i was like tipping forward and i woke up like woaah.
okay then after mass didn't have time to shower.
and then we had a talk on the 7 habits of effective leadership
kinda boring. we just sat at the back and chatted. lol



then had some "fast food" thing.
which was obviously fake.
it was basically just some thing to get us to experience what poor people have to go through.
so all we had for dinner was a bowl of porridge with water.
totally bland.
i just ate it though cos i was fungry..


then there were OTs posing as less fortunate ppl. selling tissue paper or stuff like that.
so we had to listen to their story.
and maybe try to cheer them up.
although their aim seemed to be to not be cheered up (if that makes sense)
hm.
the exercise was kinda wasted on our group though.
cos joshua brought back macs and chips while he went for his confirmation rehearsal. lol
we had a sort of feast at night while doing sharing.



had some solidarity lasalliana thing.
which was just some quiet (sort of) time to reflect. complete with bits of food to eat.
the taste represented the different aspects of life. bitterness, sourness, sweetness and some rice thingy.
sang some songs.
all in all was pretty cool reflection. (although i might have zoned out here and there)



after that had some lasallian day of peace thing.
which was really, quite boring. =x



then the usual nightly routine.


next day woke up late for pt.
3.something km run at macritchie.
was quite okay. i didn't die or anth.

after that was sharing again. one of the last group sharings. =(
so then took a bus bak to sji

after that supposed to shower. but thr was no point honestly.
so then group photo taking was during lunch
then 7 habits thing again in LT2 with genesius chan.
he has a LOT of those timewasting kind of things on his com.
so we wasted some of our break time there.
then there was the synthesis. in other words the wrap up of the camp
then the end.
all at the parade square.
got "commissioned" to be an official lasallian leader.
hugged ppl.
ji yang was high at the end of it. o.O

so yeah.
that's about it.

overall was a pretty fun camp. xD
