Confirmation camp!!!
back from conf camp, (09', cos i'm pretty sure i'll go for anth one...maybe '10)
dam fun sia...
stickin with the usual cliques (old cat class)
altho shannon like suddenly become dam social...
i came late, because of course i just HAD to go for supp lesson...
they were having lunch when i got thr...then alphonsus and the rest like shouted "HEY! JUSTIN'S HERE!!!"
lol?
then after lunch went to the st anne's hall for session,
my group ppls were
Ambrose (LoI), Sara, Katherine, Chelsea, Melanie
so.......only two guys and four girls...
the facils were Charles (find it difficult to get his name lol) and nicholas
in between sessions and stuff the clique doing random stuffs too...
the p&w sessions a bit weird...
maybe cos no enthu ppl with me..(the others were all like...un-enthu)
in fact they wanted to go home...were planning to escape at nite...lol
just like march camp...
should i have stopped them????????
i dno...doubt they'd hav listened to me...they'd be too confident that they'd get away with it.
second day was kinda better, cos in all the sharings everyone was dam funny and like, friendly
and we owned in most of the games too...
charles esp...dam funny lor...
and at nite the discussion..everyone like saying how sadistic they are....lolss

there was this part whr they gave us letters from our parents, and asked us to read...
i cried a bit...although it was like, touched kind of crying...other's cried too...
then i was doing the second reading for mass at the end of the camp..
verry formal...not like in sch or watever...
even had that weird "vest" thingy
i screwed up lol....haiz
but the camp was cool, cos some old ppl from HIPS actually remembered me...

joanne did, altho i don't remember if i was ever in the same class, or only church.

and she was like hi!!
i was stumped...thought she wouldn't recognise or know me...
well...some things are surprising...
katherine was in my group of course so...

oh, something cool happened too.
i "found" my ex-classmate dion.
last time i borrowed a guidebook from him (end of p6)
then he told me he'd be going to st anne's anyway so i cld pass it to him then.
but for some reason i nvr saw (or recognised) him...
so i still have it...3 years...lol
then gabriel and alphonsus were talking to him...and he was like, yea i was in R7
i was... O.O
omg...that's dion...
barely recognise him lol...tho he said he'd seen me quite a few times in church...
oO omg...how could i not recognise him???
still rmbr p5 camp...haiz....
oh well...
oh and another thing...
we were talking,
then i mentioned i've been in catholic schools all my life,
and sara said, yeah even my kindergarten was catholic too..
and poof we found out we both went to st francis xavier in kindergarten...
WOAH...coincidence..

now i'mma damn sleepyy......
altho was feeling wide awake during camp itself...
came back...
then found out have CCA tmr...

maybe this is a chance to test me, whether i really got courage and strength from all the prayers and reflection...
i could certainly TRY to look at it that way

Ycs MARCHA CAMPE!!!
im back from the march camp, (which was two days ago)
found it reasonably fun lah...
but then again i'm in committee...
so i didn't really get to participate in many activities,
plus of course i wasn't assigned to a group,
so not many ppl knew me
and the thing is they didn't introduce the comittee!?!?!?
how can...sianded
still,i just randomly joined ryan's group (magnifying glass...(yes that is the name of one of the groups))
but of course having to rush off time to time to handle the games stuff,
not really considerd part of the group...omg...haiz
still, the best part about it was the telematch
(except for the part before when we had to carry the pails of water...DAMN water is freaking heavy...and my back....argh)
even if i had water bombs i had no clear target...wc neva go...
instead he's talking abt how fun his sjab camp was, walking 4km in the rain..lying naked on the parade square (eeewww.....i'm so gona puke man...sji will never be the same again)
for the outdoor games (shi zi ru kou) it was freaking pouring...and i was drenched by the time we got to hougang mall...then went upstairs to fifth floor the "hidden playground" where we slacked and waited for groups
blah blah blah...then went back
p&w was quite cool lah...
but the first sing-along no enthu-ness at all...
then they called for "volunteers"
so me and ryan went up
i spammed my voice for livin on a prayer..
then psp and carrie went up...
funny thing:
he put his arm around her shoulder and she pushed it away...
OUCH!! ... public rejection
the bboy who performed at music fest was there (so happened in my group)
i was bored so i just did some randomness toprock in front of him...
haha, then he was like...come let's battle, now.
anyway i sorta learned shoulder freeze finally...
and go figure...like half of the tertiary can do baby freeze...lol??
and then there was this aspiring bgirl sia...omg not another one?

then came home and slept at 12....
oh crap...plus next day had tuition some more
went to grandma's house next morn at 8 and fell asleep
two hours later woke up with my foot TOTALY numb...
like no feeling at all...
i was like "oh #$%@,dammit"
luckily no serious problem...otherwise i'd have to amputate my foot...
ick..
last nite downloaded the new audi patch
they have new songs...
guess wat??

plus they hav new servers like Singapore and Event and Beat Up
though in the beat up server still have normal rooms and such -.-
hardly any beat up rooms at all...plus no one goes to those servers...

YCS MUSIC FEST'A
WOOSHHH!!
wow music fest was fun!!
of course...it IS ycs after all...
totaly expected to get freakin hyper and enthu
thus, FUN
plus my performances
(three of them oO)
first there was some p&w session,
but they were singin chinese songs...
so like no one could follow
zzz
then was some sing-along too
some random songs
then they played hot N cold
omg...you know what that means ^^

WC , PSP, Ivan Lewis and Me all up on stage doin PT dance
(refer to ycs EOY camp)
then after that
school performances...
we did of course the dance that we'd rehearsed so hard for...

totaly owned...plus dam fun too

yay lotsa ppl say was nice...
all a guy wants is appreciation(that and money...but well that's besides the point)

then sudenly we had psp and ivan joinin us...
in the end it was to be honest
REALLY screwed up...

lucky draw was funny...

first prize was this gibson guitar worth like $250

"here's your prize...a brand new guitar cover"
ROFL totaly jacked...
they were joking though...in the end he won it
after music fest (which ended off with a totaly water-rush style singing)
went to J8 with supper with the gang
were still hyper...
but didn't want to be inconsiderate by shouting
so instead we just shouted

or Cat High...

Sec one campfire/CNY visit to HIPS
yest was s1 campfire...
super shag(yay new lingo)
and i was pretty sure my voice would be gone today...
yest lessons as usual...
for english went to malcolm park and had sort of picnic...
my camera ran out of bat...
runs on AA so i asked my form tutor if she has extra...
she did then i was happy...yay later can use for campfire...
after lessons mass rehearsal...
immediately after sch...
sum 1 told me wang wen say must go directly so i go loh...
didn't even get a chance to teach my junior how to baby freeze... =(
then rehearse finish...
scouts...
5 went off from scouts to prepare for campfire....
took out my camera...
(with new bateries)
and tried to take a pic...

he said he was going to hwa chong to "rally" the other sec ones first...so i went there direct...
went there...saw my old science/english teacher ms yeo...she said i looked familiar but she didn't remember my name(expected...)
she told me HIPS was full day that day...other schools also...(yay sji!! woots)
but only got like three other ex students there...so walked to hougang plaza 7-11 to top up my ez-link card and walked bak...
got bak still no one i knew there...
so took out 2 killa mockingberd and read...
then gerald,alex and vanessa walked by and saw me...

vanessa was at the st nick's alumni dinner...prefect duty...with esther(not surprised)

start of 2009...
i'd say it's none too good a start...
oh well....
been a long time since i last posted...
been swamped with all the neat(retarded)crap that sec three's have to go through...
and also haven't been bothering lately...
10 days...
sch started alright i guess....
only knew julian,thaddaeus,paul,daniel,eugene and maybe a few others...
the rest i didn't know or are scholars...
btw my class has FIFTEEN scholars...
to emphasize that point i spelled it out and made it capital...
FIFTEEN...
that's like half the class....

he seems to have smth against scholars...
i dno...maybe the sight of lots of smart people in the same room make him feel like he has the iq of a retarded dungbeetle...
i dno....that guy is full of issues...

well one main thing that happened in the last 10(or more) days is the orientation camp.
yup,the one that i spent three days in(another)camp training for.
first day in the morning didn't get to know my group members very well...
just one huge class rather than small groups...
oh yeah, between me and my co-leader milton, we had to take care of THRITEEN sec ones...(i emphasize again with the spelling out and capitalisation)
other groups hav lyke 11 sec ones to 3 psls...
i was like...huh!?
...anyway...
during the first session, with all the intros and stuff like that...
that's when i first realised the sec ones were hyper...
not like they were run-up-the-wall-chase-the-moon-fly-jump-hop-run-shout kind of hyper,but they were just you know..attention deficit to put it nicely...
hard to get them to sit in a circle...and then hard to get them to be quiet...and STAY in that circle...
throughout the rest of the day was quite fun....
team games...we didn't bomb them for the pathfinder game...(see we so good psls...)
then some other stuff...
then session 2 some time in the afternoon...
this is de serious serious one rmbr our sec one OC?
the one whr you share intimately and supposed to keep it a secret blah blah...
well this was the main problem....
difficult for the sec ones to take it seriously....
keep reminding them...and they can't resist cracking a joke like 1 minute later...
kinda frustrating...
plus there was this boy bervyn....
his teacher told me he was feeling sick...
told me to let him rest if he not feeling well....
then during session 2 he said he wanted to go outside rest cos inside too noisy(it wasn't SUPPSOED to be noisy... -__-)
i just let him stay outside ....
then melvyn and some other psf came by then saw him sitting outside....
then melvyn brought me away to some distant corner then told me abt bervyn...
(lol....melvyn and bervyn)
bervyn apparently was(hopefully WAS)depressed cos he was forced to come to SJI by his parents...and he didn't want to come here...
so he's feeling like...unhappy....left out...
and it fell down to me...his psl,to try to get him out of it...
man...just when i thought managing 13 attention deficit sec ones WASN'T going to be a challenge... -_-
so throughout the camp tried to make sure he was involved in stuff...talked to him...had conversations...

so i'm pretty sure he's better now...(6 days after camp)

going somewhere to play badminton or smth...
anyway bak to camp...

(our group name was finnish(as in finland) for faith)
guess wat? it's called luottamus...
wth? sounds like octopus or hippopotamus ...
basically left the sec ones to come up with the cheer
tried to get everyone to contribute...but they rather stay with their small "cliques"...
in the end it got done...
i can't really be bothered to go through the whole camp...

probably had smth to do with yong han and raj pushing me out...
oh and i finally proved to yong han, once and for all, that A PRETZEL IS NOT A NUT!!!
it is a)a kind of dough thingy that's twisted into a weird shape. b)the name of the weird statue on the grasspatch between the sec 3 and sec 4 block. and last, 3)a bboy move...
haha in his face...
(yong han uses the more conservative(aka OUTDATED) "in thy face"...totally weird...)

BACK FROM YCS CAMP!!!!
(btw christmas is in 2 days...)
Yoz ppl once again i'm bak from a prolonged leave...
THIS time tho i feel dam sad it's over...
i actually miss the camp...
and the ppl
haiz...
felt like crying last night sorta
so...i'll recap the camp first...
turkey can wait...
first day,friday.
went to wrong place...
(wei chong told me that place was correct in the first place...idiot.)
took a bus from thr(intstructed by ivan...thks man)
then got thr to find that the campsite is RIGHT FRKING opposite holy innocents' primary
which is after all my primary sch
got thr found that no one else was thr
then at 10(one hour l8)went to the session room...
saw like wat 20 ppl?? no wait less than that...
abt 10 ppl...
yea
i was like wtf...
then got into groups...
my group was xiao long bao...
random name....hmm..
thr were only three ppl in it(including me)
so like ya...
then the co-camp master aaron came to our group and helped
(and stayed faithful to our group throughout the camp =D)
he drew a random flag....with like a flag inside the flag and a helicopter crashing into a tree....(oh yeah it was an APPLE tree...lol)and a sheep or smth like that
then thr was some icebreakers...
thr was the game with the toilet paper...
and we tricked some guy into thinking that was his ration for the whole camp...
he took a whole lot of toilet paper...
in the end he found out how many pieces you take u say how many things abt yurself...
he was like "shit"...lol
then the whacko played with a twistt...
say the thing abt the person he said just now instead of name...
so the guy who took like 25 pieces had a lot of things for him...lol
i forgot wat happened over the day but at the end of it we had a few more ppl in our group cos some ppl came late...thr was some game whr we had to hunt for envelopes with scrambled up story inside....
first we had to find one of four ppl then they give us clues...then find all four envelopes...
aaron was waiting for our group down the stairs lol...
then that was over then nite time...
arthur told me a bit about the bboying thing...
then mentioned he sessions with my seniors in sji...

so we decided to run or wait for bus...
in the end the bus that came wasn't direct so we just took one stop and got off...
the campsite was like another bus stop away...
we ran...then halfway they decided to take a cab...lol
we arrived in style,two taxis driving into the campsite...

we were first...then yay....
then waited like 15 min for next group to arrive...
lol after all that stuff...then in the end no need...
later was nite games...or "fear factor"
first station we had to eat a flame...
actually not difficult...
put the candle into your mouth fast...it won't burn or be too hot...

next station was spinning arnd for a long time...then take turns to hold two cups and do a sort of obstacle course...like "i survived a japanese game show" or wat??

the campsite was like another bus stop away...
we ran...then halfway they decided to take a cab...lol
we arrived in style,two taxis driving into the campsite...
(by then there were more ppl in the group than cld fit in one cab)
we were first...then yay....
then waited like 15 min for next group to arrive...
lol after all that stuff...then in the end no need...
later was nite games...or "fear factor"
first station we had to eat a flame...
actually not difficult...
put the candle into your mouth fast...it won't burn or be too hot...

next station was spinning arnd for a long time...then take turns to hold two cups and do a sort of obstacle course...like "i survived a japanese game show" or wat??

and take out two marbles and eight coins...
the group managed to take all out...

everyone KNEW they were going to dump water on us...they were preparing buckets behind...

first game was a stupid game they give a pair of ppl two body parts then they use those parts to carry a sponge to the other end then squeeze the water into a bottle...
(aaron helped us with this...i won't say how)
then next game
was tossing water using a water scooper into a bucket which someone has to hold over their head...
aaron also helped us but this time iggy retaliated and threw away a LOT of water...
plus marvyn threw some of the water at someone....tried to warn him but too late...
third game hold biscuit in mouth and pass a mentos sweet using the biscuit only...while standing on chair..
record was two we got one...
last game called helium pipe...
everyone uses tip of finger to support a pipe...then walk go on a chair...then another chair...
finished was still wet...
then they dunk water on us again...
but no one target wei chong...wtf??
then was wan hui prep(for some reason we were doing korean drama????????)
then for actual wan hui our sketch was abt some damn suay guy whose wife cheats on him with another woman,his daughter spended all his money,and he gets fired from work...
we also had to do a mtv/advertisement...
we did some random macs ad about the new "Mega Xiao Long Bao" like i'm about to be beaten up by loan shark with a stick,then i call the police for help then they send the MXLB and i eat then i beat the loanshark...then the two who are watching the "tv" say wow the guy with no stick beat the guy with stick!!wow so good

abt some random games they acted out...
was damn random and spastic...

so sad...
when i got home i cld only see ppl from the camp...
whenever i close my eyes i'd see ppl from camp...

relived the camp a bit...

Back from ACE camp
yoz people...
just(two days)back from ACE camp...
a four day camp in the wild outdoors in malaysia...
though not so wild....
or at least not as wild as last year's ACE camp...
differences:
-Proper toilets
-A sheltered mess hall(which is not all that messy)
-Big spacious tents to sleep in
-Beds/bunks to sleep on...
so we were lucky...
still that didn't make the camp a walk in the park(or the jungle for that matter)
first day after a long bus ride when marcus was annoying yong han...
canoeing...
i was like okay i've done this before i can do it again...
this time the canoe was different...my foot was squeezed at the sides by two metal things in the middle...
my ankle was frkin sore after the whole thing...
yong han complained i wasn't using strength....
oh well...
next day jungle survival...
my group only managed to get the shelter...
the fire and water we just crapped...
then orienteering...
my mini-group(5 ppl) came in first...
were also first in points...
got to water bomb the others....
cool...though to be honest i was more glad that i wasn't the target...
third day(halfway through)
river crossing...my group was first...thanks to a "technical difficulty" on one team...
and thanks to jun xuan overtaking the other group mid-river...
rafting...hmm...
since my group had ocy AND me...we were expected to take the lead...
ocy came up with some design that was quite different from what the standard design would be...
we were given four barrels and four thinner pipes...plus ropes...
perhaps ocy was too ambitious...should have stuck with usual design....
(no points for creativity)
i discovered mud is really...um...squishy...
totaly sucks...
as in literally...
sucks your leg down and like holds on to it...
after canoeing it decided it would keep hold of my shoe...
which is what it did...
seriously you can't imagine how squishy it is unless you feel it...
afternoon was mt. climbing...
walked halfway then we were told we had reached halfway mark...
then continued...(marcus stayed behind...not climbing up at all)
man it was tiring...
super steep...
then there were some cliffs that were like waist high or chest high...
i didn't make it to the top in time(1 hour)
was feeling dizzy so i was sitting down resting...
then everyone started coming down...
apparently i was quite close to the summit...
oh well...
shawn did his best i think...
he made it halfway past the halfway mark
(whereas marcus didn't go past it at all)
so...the two unfittest guys in class didn't make it...
plus two other guys...
one is me...
oh well.
monday, LAST day...
wooh....was happy it was last day...
morning activity abseiling...
plus some pusiking climbing or smth...
my group did the climbing first...
i banged my head on the ceiling just before doing it...
i blame yong han...
if he had banged his head first...
i wouldn't have...
he so tall he shld have hit...
argh it hurt...
and i was "volunteered" to be the first to demonstrate...
was quite okay....maybe even easy
next station abseiling...it was one by one so we had free time...
watched shawn attempt the climbing thing...he apparently succeeded...
with help from others...
last station
leopard crawl plus lifting thing....
the lifting thing was like some trust thing...
one person gets lifted up by the rest...high in the air
everyone sings a song THEN puts him down...
luckily for our group...we had no heavy people like marcus and shawn...
i was the heaviest in the group...
haiz...
the ACE leader...was the head prefect
he also was a PSF(peer support facilitator)
he also happened to attend PSLTC '08
he ALSO happened to see my performance during psltc...
so he asked me to rap low while carrying a guy...
i was like huh???
i only did the chorus...yong han was in the same group he sang along...
oh yeah the ACE leader,Vrij,recognised me the first day
(i had to give him a small reminder..."PSLTC")
and tried to get me to rap...
lawlz...told you i had a reputation...
after that...CAMP OVER!!!
oh yea,201 was the best force...
HAH!! TABA TABA!!
mostly thanks to ocy cos he came up with both cheers...
he's like what, a cheer making machine...
came back via taxi...

PSLTC '08!
yo i'm back from PSLTC!!! the peer support leader camp thing...
it was Uber fun!!as in,mega super epic giga ultra fun.
yea you get the picture...
okae...maybe it wasn't THAT fun...
but it sure owns the heck out of any scouts camp...
on par with orientation camp in sec one perhaps...

so the day started off...met other group members,and the facils in charge of our group.

so first there was session 1 in the classroom...(we were in 431,coincidence??)

after lunch visit to old SJI...
then there was games...
there was this station...you know the standard ones where there's a rubber band rope and the whole group has to skip rope??
we finished with a lot of time left so they started trying double dutch...
the "swinging the rope in two directions" didn't work so they just swung both from the same hand in the same direction...
andrew was the first to try "jumping in"(disney channel movie anybody??)
it wasn't all that difficult...just gotta time it...
i tried a few times...tried turning in mid-air...failed(but not epically;D)
that was really fun...then there was screening "pay it forward" a movie
sleep time...
kevin "forgot" his sleeping bag and had to share mine...

so first there was session 1 in the classroom...(we were in 431,coincidence??)
name game and stuff like that...
after lunch visit to old SJI...
then there was games...
there was this station...you know the standard ones where there's a rubber band rope and the whole group has to skip rope??
we finished with a lot of time left so they started trying double dutch...
the "swinging the rope in two directions" didn't work so they just swung both from the same hand in the same direction...
andrew was the first to try "jumping in"(disney channel movie anybody??)
it wasn't all that difficult...just gotta time it...
i tried a few times...tried turning in mid-air...failed(but not epically;D)
that was really fun...then there was screening "pay it forward" a movie
sleep time...
kevin "forgot" his sleeping bag and had to share mine...

we did some sketch(that's pronounced "skit" surprisingly....look it up)about a guy who makes a lot of promises and can't, no wait, dosen't keep them...
one of those promises was to fetch his littl bro from soccer...
i was the dad telling him to do that...and getting pissed when he dosen't...
the joke i added was.

also there was his proj...some music and dance thing...
he was supposed to sing but he didn't learn the lyrics...
i was doing the beat to low for that part...
since i was "famous" for my beatboxing/rapping by then...lol
once during the many "intermissions" between activities...
you know the ones where they tell lame jokes to pass the time??
they played low...then of course i started singing along...the guys up front saw me and asked me to go up...
i obviously resisted but andrew pushed me...
(to be honest i was sorta willing to go up meself)
so first is the chorus...since it was totally impromptu i just started with the beat...
then the 2nd chorus...oohh my favourite!!
so i sing/rap...
then i get into the "professional performer" mood...during the chorus i raise the mike to audience when there's an echo (boots with the fur(cue echo)with the fur)
yea...my leg was shaking throughout the whole thing...lol
even though this my third time performing i'm still nervous...
so...after that i was being recognised by random ppl...
"hey nice rapping" or smth like that...
i'll admit...it felt good...
next day...not much...there was session 3...the trust session...
there's this thing where the others form a circle around you and you close your eyes and fall and they catch you...
my turn they were singing stupid songs...

so then came the end of camp...i must say i'll miss it...

back to today...
alright,
today i pwned school whole day.
cos' i had to go for canoeing contact time since i had MC last time
so...i went with sec 1s,
class 106.
morning, before assembly, waited in the canteen.
then got on the bus.
listened music on new phone on the bus,
discovered that one part of Through The Fire And Flames is really ownage...
and then reached the adventure centre, near changi airport(or so i think..)
one discovery kinda stunned me,
WE WERE FREAKING AT THE OPEN SEA!!
wtf?
holy crap.
open sea??
yikes
and then we went for briefing, and this guy from 106 called Joel
talked to me a bit and we ended up being partners
(not coincidental though...)
so...then but on Personal Floatation Devices
just one problem with the personal floatation devices,
its not personal!!
okay don't mind me just being random.
ahem.
so we dragged(ahem i mean CARRIED)
the kayaks(apparently it's a kayaking course not a canoeing course)
oh forgot to mention.
while we were having briefing...
A STORM WAS FREAKING GOING ON!!
insane man....
and i was like: we're going out in THAT!?
it cleared up though...
so off we went...
however, since my buddy Joel is a sailor(sailing CCA)
he had to help get ppl in the kayaks, and wait for mr teo to dispatch...
this, obviously, meant I also had to help with it and so we were last to dispatch.
first we had to report to mr tahil far away at the yellow buoy.
then, go three times anti-clockwise around a big triangle marked by three buoys.
well, alright, fair enough.
i overestimated the current.
the way mr nathan was going on about the current it was like we had to use every last ounce of strength to battle against it..
turns out it didn't affect us that much...
still,it WAS a bit affecting us...
oh, and on our first round,
joel wanted to wash the kayak,
so, against my pleas...
did an unofficial capsize drill...
freak....
anyway finished our rounds(i think faster than anyone else)
then went to mr tahil, who told us three rounds back clockwise direction...
again, finished it. done(this would seem very fast to you, reading it, but you bet it was hell'a lot longer in the water)
yea...we two seemed to be able to work together very well, got a kind of system whereby he'd give timings some of the time to keep in sync...
so we finished the total of SIX rounds the fastest.
back to mr tahil.
i thought that was the last exercise we would need to do before capsize drill(the ACTUAL thing)
but we still had to do 360(degree) turns around each buoy and then get back to the start buoy...
sianz...
so that was done.
then went back to mr tahil(we were the first to complete everything, despite being the last to dispatch)
he told us to stay inside the triangle and PRACTICE...
wth like i'd want to do MORE work...
but we did practice e-brake...
then came raft up time.
rafted, but then the guy let go of the buoy he was supposed to hang onto....
so we drifted off and had to paddle back again...
this time I held to buoy....
this made us the last to go for capsize drill test...
actually we were quite fast..
other pairs were taking like 5- 7 minutes.
i think we took like 2.
no joke.
(it's not MEANT to be a joke anyway....if it's wrong)
actually i enjoyed it!
not like i'm the kind of super-adventurous hyper-active kinda guy who loves the outdoors...
but it was fun paddling around, working together with your partner... heading for the next destination.
not to mention it'd be useful for ACE camp...
alright, so i made a new friend, and i'm surprised i kinda "clicked" with the sec 1s,
you know...communication...
yah...okay.
then we sat for an MCQ test on kayaking
(which i'd already taken before during one of the P.E. lessons)

YCS Anniversary Day
today was YCS anniversary,held at montfort sec.
reached there like 10.10 or smth like that...
darryl was calling me cos' he had nothing to do while waiting....
met gabriel goh there too...
the thing started late so darryl and i wandered around to begin with...
more retarded conversations between us as you probably expect(refering to previous post)
finally it started,with the kai hui jing
smth unexpxected was the intitiation rites...
wei chong was supposed to go and be intitiated...
but HE WAS LATE LOL cos' of some sjab thing...
ended up missing it altogether...
HAHA JACK!!!
then wei chong came(after it was all over) =D
then had icebreakers...
wei chong had to do forfeit HAH...
the "banana dance" :

so we had games after that...and separated into groups.
i was in the same group as wei chong and ivan!! hooray.!
First Game:
each member from the group must run to the end,pick up a marshmallow with mouth,then burst balloon on chair by sitting on it.
CATCH: before it even started we could see two things:
1.the balloons had ketchup in them!!
2.the marshmallows were covered with flour.
i was like: NOOO!! i didn't bring extra pants!!onli shirt...NNOO!!!
two letters : GG.
so...when it was my turn i ran and got a marshmallow...
it was SICK(in a bad way)
there were like a lot of extra ingredients...
like say pepper,i think ketchup and don't forget the flour...
then (against my better judgement) sat on the balloon..
...
...
...
FLUSH.
didn't get a chance to see how bad it looked...cos' i threw myself down and slid on the grass to try to erase the ketchup...
might have made it a lot worse...don't care...
in the end our group lost...Hargh...
Second Game:
pour condensed milk from cup to cup from first person to next
CATCH: can only use mouth...
if anyone has not seen or does not know what condensed milk is(like me)
just know that it's the opposite of "runny"
so there's the problem...(besides the oh so unimportant fact that we can only use our mouths)
yea managed it though...Stephanie(girl from YCS i met at music fest) was like saying:
"make out! lol" when i was passing the milk...

Third Game:
captain's ball
CATCH: use of WATERBALLOONS as compared to standard ball.in case you don't know...there brings a problem cos' well,water balloons tend to burst when they're thrown and caught...and the thing about water balloons is...well...they have water in them.which should let you know the problem...(srry but i feel like condescending today,don't be insulted =))

YCS birthday cake! i learned that YCS is 52 years old...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
after singing happy birthday(i didn't catch who the happy birthday was addressed to,though i assume they sang YCS) they cut a BIG chunk out and gave each school to finish it up...without forks(hey since when did EATING have a catch????)
so came about my most barbaric eating in a while(or possibly ever)...
ser peng was smearing cream on his face for some reason....helped him take photo but i don't have it =(
then came more games and stuff...like charades and all that...
here i will correct/contradict my previous quote*
the most straightforward game:
there are straws lying around.team that picks up the most wins.
ah but WAIT!
there IS a catch:we were just helping them clean up. -.-
cos' they had some plan for a game but no time to carry it out...(bet you THAT game would have had a catch!)
after all the games were done,praise and worship...we(ivan,gabriel,wei chong,ser peng,darryl(somewhat) and i) were like the only enthu ppl who were like making a chain(you know when everyone puts their arms around each other's shoulders then make a chain and sway to music?) and jumping up and down...oh well...
there was some sharing session...then finished off with more praise and worship.
ser peng had left for some reason though...so left the rest of us being enthu...
oh yah,and sometime during the day saw one guy trying to do flares,and (the same guy i think) doing INSANE headstands...kicking legs and spinning,even did no hand spin...sianz when can i do that????argh...(interesting though didn't know there were other bboys in YCS,thought only arthur)
after the whole anniversary was over...i went LAN for the second time in my life...
with gabriel and darryl and wei chong...
played CS cos' i didn't know how to play DOTA...(hey i'm not a LANner...i prefer spamming ps3 anyday)
i'm still a noob at CS though so didn't do so well...
got a few kills...(more than wei chong ha!)darryl and gabriel were the pro ones though...
and the last level they were teamed against wei chong and i...
and wei chong attacked me for FUN...
idiot...
so i bought a shotgun and went after him(next round)
haha...not much to say about it...
so, i won't say much about it =)
ah...really gotta get a time to post past events...i promise next time nothing interesting happens i'll post...(if i can recall what happened at all...my memory's not that good...must be my old age...haiz ;))
