Sec one campfire/CNY visit to HIPS

yest was s1 campfire...
super shag(yay new lingo)
and i was pretty sure my voice would be gone today...

yest lessons as usual...
for english went to malcolm park and had sort of picnic...
my camera ran out of bat...
runs on AA so i asked my form tutor if she has extra...
she did then i was happy...yay later can use for campfire...

after lessons mass rehearsal...
immediately after sch...
sum 1 told me wang wen say must go directly so i go loh...
didn't even get a chance to teach my junior how to baby freeze... =(

then rehearse finish...
scouts...
5 went off from scouts to prepare for campfire....
took out my camera...
(with new bateries)
and tried to take a pic...
the battery died...
wth lah...

campfire was fun...
i was acting high and hyper...
and also damn spastic

joshua was asking me about my "chemistry" fren...
which is the girl he was talking to that time on msn...
he said there's this game called screamer...
some super tiny maze game when you reach lvl 4 BOOM there'll be a face appearing on the screen and shouting smth or smth like that...
i was like o.O wtf?...
so evil sia...
anyway...yea was damn hyper and enthu and hyper enthu and shouting like crap...
super fun...
then after the whole thing finished=( went to canteen to find s1s and to rest...
saw tze jun holding a can of h2O...then he gave it to me...
aww....so sweet....

so that was yesterday...
today...chinese new year mass...
friar mike asked max and i wat we were gonna do fo the sharing thingy...
then he got our names...
after the gopsel he announced that max and justin would be doing a sharing...
then later during communion mr ang said my name when i received...
o.O okay...
(wow i seriously end all my sentences with ...) lol...

then after mass me and psp chiong to the hall to prepare for opening prayer...
prayer done...
went back to the classes via the outside way that leads from the side of the hall backstage to the side of the canteen...(which i nvr knew existed...)

after that just stoned at the back of the hall till it was over...(it was really quite boring to be honest...nothing like the campfire)
then decided to go to 102 to ask nathaniel if he was going bak to HIPS also...
he said he was going to hwa chong to "rally" the other sec ones first...so i went there direct...

went there...saw my old science/english teacher ms yeo...she said i looked familiar but she didn't remember my name(expected...)
she told me HIPS was full day that day...other schools also...(yay sji!! woots)
but only got like three other ex students there...so walked to hougang plaza 7-11 to top up my ez-link card and walked bak...
got bak still no one i knew there...
so took out 2 killa mockingberd and read...
then gerald,alex and vanessa walked by and saw me...
barely recognised me of course...
but i rememberedd them...
vanessa was at the st nick's alumni dinner...prefect duty...with esther(not surprised)
saw her there...which was like a year ago...
talked a bit...
then went to look for ms yeo...
talked a lot...
then found my p6 chinese teacher who was apparently my form teacher(i had totally forgotten who was my form teacher)
then at the stairs saw a teacher who recognised gerald and vanessa and even remembered my name...
thing is i didn't remember who she was... xP
omg damn pai seh sia...
but at least she didn't find out i forgot who she was...
wandered around some more...
didn't find any other teachers...(maybe a good thing cos i might not remember them...)
by that time it was like 2+ alrdy...
then went home and now here i am typing dys...

we won the first match!! OMG 331 won a soccer match!

then next match we lost...

needless to say they scored...
last match we lost again...
deflection...(off the same keeper as last match who wasn't keeper that time...i was keeper)
and goal... for other team...

sch started alright i guess....

the rest i didn't know or are scholars...
btw my class has FIFTEEN scholars...
to emphasize that point i spelled it out and made it capital...

that's like half the class....

well one main thing that happened in the last 10(or more) days is the orientation camp.
yup,the one that i spent three days in(another)camp training for.
first day in the morning didn't get to know my group members very well...
just one huge class rather than small groups...
oh yeah, between me and my co-leader milton, we had to take care of THRITEEN sec ones...(i emphasize again with the spelling out and capitalisation)
other groups hav lyke 11 sec ones to 3 psls...
i was like...huh!?
...anyway...
during the first session, with all the intros and stuff like that...
that's when i first realised the sec ones were hyper...
not like they were run-up-the-wall-chase-the-moon-fly-jump-hop-run-shout kind of hyper,but they were just you know..attention deficit to put it nicely...
hard to get them to sit in a circle...and then hard to get them to be quiet...and STAY in that circle...
throughout the rest of the day was quite fun....
team games...we didn't bomb them for the pathfinder game...(see we so good psls...)
then some other stuff...
then session 2 some time in the afternoon...
this is de serious serious one rmbr our sec one OC?
the one whr you share intimately and supposed to keep it a secret blah blah...
well this was the main problem....
difficult for the sec ones to take it seriously....
keep reminding them...and they can't resist cracking a joke like 1 minute later...
kinda frustrating...
plus there was this boy bervyn....
his teacher told me he was feeling sick...
told me to let him rest if he not feeling well....
then during session 2 he said he wanted to go outside rest cos inside too noisy(it wasn't SUPPSOED to be noisy... -__-)
i just let him stay outside ....
then melvyn and some other psf came by then saw him sitting outside....
then melvyn brought me away to some distant corner then told me abt bervyn...

bervyn apparently was(hopefully WAS)depressed cos he was forced to come to SJI by his parents...and he didn't want to come here...
so he's feeling like...unhappy....left out...
and it fell down to me...his psl,to try to get him out of it...
man...just when i thought managing 13 attention deficit sec ones WASN'T going to be a challenge... -_-
so throughout the camp tried to make sure he was involved in stuff...talked to him...had conversations...
yea...
so i'm pretty sure he's better now...(6 days after camp)
saw him this afternoon....
going somewhere to play badminton or smth...
anyway bak to camp...

nite time came up with group cheer.
(our group name was finnish(as in finland) for faith)
guess wat? it's called luottamus...
wth? sounds like octopus or hippopotamus ...
basically left the sec ones to come up with the cheer
tried to get everyone to contribute...but they rather stay with their small "cliques"...
in the end it got done...
i can't really be bothered to go through the whole camp...

oh and i finally proved to yong han, once and for all, that A PRETZEL IS NOT A NUT!!!
it is a)a kind of dough thingy that's twisted into a weird shape. b)the name of the weird statue on the grasspatch between the sec 3 and sec 4 block. and last, 3)a bboy move...
haha in his face...

oh and julian is FINALLY over his whole "hey i'm batman" "i love gwen" facade...
good thing...(i might miss the retardedness...but i'm sure he makes up for it in other ways..)

Suan Wei Chong For Fun Competition officially starts.

alrite guys, welcome to the first(hopefully of many) suan wc competition.
here's how it'll go:
the next few posts will be related to funny/weird/embarassing stories about our star, the toilet king.
I will post some myself, but the rest will come from the other contestants(hopefully that'd be you)
at the end of the competition(as yet undecided), the two judges(wc and myself) will each choose the winner(the one who sent in the "best" story of wc).
the winner will be decided by a majority vote. however, since I am the chairperson of this competition my vote will count as two.

-he's in love with veron(whole world should know this by now)
-his initials are w.c. or water closet aka toilet.

-his ex gf silverlychee almost dumped him over an apple...

he and his audi gf were playing some couple thingy on audi...then he went afk to eat an apple. silverlychee was like "you dun care that i playing with another guy, you dun love me T_T" wc was like "but i'm eating apple!"...another time he was playing with her(haven't broken up yet)he halfway dc then i had to act as messenger between them....silverlychee went "i love you" and wc goes "nah she won't say that one", she goes "why not??" then he says he wants to go sleep... -_-
now they broke up alrdy but he says he wants to get back together and then break again just to make her sad... =(

during the camp he was trying to learn how to whistle...it took the guys teaching him 5 minutes to realise he was breathing through his nose...

when we were out at hougang mall....he said (exact quote) "i gonna marry another GUY"...

okay yah and do i need to mention his failure at practically every game we play?

it was 8.40...
so i hurried and changed,brush teeth...
my mum helped me photocopy the homework for kevin
then my dad dropped me off at bishan where we were gonna meet since i'd woken up late...
went up to the golden village cinema...
didn't see them outside it...
the cinema was closed though...
so went down so i cld have breakfast...
haiz braces were tightened so eating problems again...
had macs...
then went bak up to cinema it was still closed...
went in under the gate and asked wat time they are open..
they say 10.30...we got like one hour plus to spend...
went into some weird place called virtualand...
from outside you cant tell it's actually an arcade...
i dished out 20bucks...considered it their christmas present...
then realised we'd have 40 tokens to spend..
tried to ask for $10 worth but they no change cos just opened...(true...we were just outside when they opened the gates...)
(in the end they paid me bak like more than half of the money anyway...)
played some basketball....some daytona...anything to use up the 40 tokens...
played some random DJ thing which was fun and i owned yong han and kevin who were combining their forces....
went bak to cinema...found out earliest time for yes man was 1.50pm...
went down and walked a bit...passed best and saw an xbox 360 for demo...

not as fun using the xbox controller...guitar better...

then kevin and yong han went to cinema to buy the tickets...
then two small kids came over and their mom left them next to the xbox...

BACK FROM YCS CAMP!!!!

(btw christmas is in 2 days...)
Yoz ppl once again i'm bak from a prolonged leave...
THIS time tho i feel dam sad it's over...
i actually miss the camp...
and the ppl

felt like crying last night sorta
so...i'll recap the camp first...
turkey can wait...

first day,friday.
went to wrong place...
(wei chong told me that place was correct in the first place...idiot.)
took a bus from thr(intstructed by ivan...thks man)
then got thr to find that the campsite is RIGHT FRKING opposite holy innocents' primary
which is after all my primary sch
got thr found that no one else was thr
then at 10(one hour l8)went to the session room...
saw like wat 20 ppl?? no wait less than that...
abt 10 ppl...
yea
i was like wtf...
then got into groups...
my group was xiao long bao...
random name....hmm..
thr were only three ppl in it(including me)
so like ya...
then the co-camp master aaron came to our group and helped
(and stayed faithful to our group throughout the camp =D)
he drew a random flag....with like a flag inside the flag and a helicopter crashing into a tree....(oh yeah it was an APPLE tree...lol)and a sheep or smth like that
then thr was some icebreakers...
thr was the game with the toilet paper...
and we tricked some guy into thinking that was his ration for the whole camp...
he took a whole lot of toilet paper...
in the end he found out how many pieces you take u say how many things abt yurself...
he was like "shit"...lol
then the whacko played with a twistt...
say the thing abt the person he said just now instead of name...
so the guy who took like 25 pieces had a lot of things for him...lol
i forgot wat happened over the day but at the end of it we had a few more ppl in our group cos some ppl came late...thr was some game whr we had to hunt for envelopes with scrambled up story inside....
first we had to find one of four ppl then they give us clues...then find all four envelopes...
aaron was waiting for our group down the stairs lol...
then that was over then nite time...
arthur told me a bit about the bboying thing...
then mentioned he sessions with my seniors in sji...
interesting...he says they are super pro...

then go hougang mall...found aaron on the fourth floor...
was some detour thing...
find one thing in or many things(in supermarket)
all the groups chose second one of course...
had to find a list of prices...
some were tricky and hard to find...
in the end we left first i guess...
went to nativity church next...had to take pictures of the water coolers and tell lester how many there were...
there were 2...
then had to take a pic of everyone at the mary place i forgot wat...
lucky one of the photo ppl was in our group but had to take pics so he took the pic for us using a phone...
then we crossed the road to 7-11 to buy stuff...i bought two cans of milo...damn thirsty...running a lot
then aaron called val and said run...the other team finish liao...
so we decided to run or wait for bus...
in the end the bus that came wasn't direct so we just took one stop and got off...
the campsite was like another bus stop away...
we ran...then halfway they decided to take a cab...lol
we arrived in style,two taxis driving into the campsite...
(by then there were more ppl in the group than cld fit in one cab)
we were first...then yay....
then waited like 15 min for next group to arrive...
lol after all that stuff...then in the end no need...
later was nite games...or "fear factor"
first station we had to eat a flame...
actually not difficult...
put the candle into your mouth fast...it won't burn or be too hot...
then blow...
it's cool
the flame is IN your mouth...
next station was spinning arnd for a long time...then take turns to hold two cups and do a sort of obstacle course...like "i survived a japanese game show" or wat??
was super dizzy sia...
(the feeling stuck for the rest of the nite for some reason...)
then had to put our hands in a box with mealworms and cornflakes or smth like that...
and take out two marbles and eight coins...
the group managed to take all out...
i hardly did anyhintg...
i put my finger in but couldn't find any coins...
and no...i didn't dare to lift up the whole pile...
last station just drink some random concoction...
but very little of it....
mine was super spicy...
i cld see the chilli powder sia...
that done...
then thr was some spiritual session...
then we were taken to the adoration room(which i had no idea thr was one thr)
i kinda felt like crying then...
but our facil val was the one who was crying...
nite time stayed talking some crap...
again ppl brought up alicia...

next day was super sleepy...

there was telematch...
out on the field.
amos told us to sit down in a group...
everyone KNEW they were going to dump water on us...they were preparing buckets behind...

smth about a beach with yur fren then they dumped water on us...

first game was a stupid game they give a pair of ppl two body parts then they use those parts to carry a sponge to the other end then squeeze the water into a bottle...
(aaron helped us with this...i won't say how)
then next game
was tossing water using a water scooper into a bucket which someone has to hold over their head...
aaron also helped us but this time iggy retaliated and threw away a LOT of water...
plus marvyn threw some of the water at someone....tried to warn him but too late...
third game hold biscuit in mouth and pass a mentos sweet using the biscuit only...while standing on chair..
record was two we got one...
last game called helium pipe...
everyone uses tip of finger to support a pipe...then walk go on a chair...then another chair...
finished was still wet...
then they dunk water on us again...
but no one target wei chong...wtf??
then was wan hui prep(for some reason we were doing korean drama????????)
then for actual wan hui our sketch was abt some damn suay guy whose wife cheats on him with another woman,his daughter spended all his money,and he gets fired from work...
we also had to do a mtv/advertisement...
we did some random macs ad about the new "Mega Xiao Long Bao" like i'm about to be beaten up by loan shark with a stick,then i call the police for help then they send the MXLB and i eat then i beat the loanshark...then the two who are watching the "tv" say wow the guy with no stick beat the guy with stick!!wow so good
that's the brief overview...
it was very funny...
other groups also very good...
then the exco did a sketch also...
abt some random games they acted out...
was damn random and spastic...
got streetfighter,mario and pokemon...and olympics...
our group won the best ad, and most gay actor and also the best actor(who was the most gay)
lol...wat a random award...
then was spiritual again...(srry i tink i'm messing up which nite was spiritual and all...but the same thing...)
the exco members washed each others feet...
then had some group sharing...
and a group hug...
and val cried again
aaron washed our feet...
and wei chong washed my feet...
i dunno why...
then after everything i just went to sleep...
heck about everyting else i was tired...

next day was super slack...
had a training by aaron on priorities and planning...
then there was a standard strength and weakness thing...
paste a paper on your back and ppl write on your back strength and weaknesses...
ppl(i'm sure one was ivan and prob wei chong too)wrote i stink...
cos' i didn't bathe at first the first night...haiz...
or maybe i really stink...
and lester drew tic tac toe on the weaknesses part also...
of course...ppl wrote quiet...
i alrdy knew that...but i just am that way...
lotsa ppl said i'm friendly and nice...
just like exco camp...
is it logically possible to be quiet AND friendly??

after carolling and having some food...

our pt music...
i was feeling super enthu then...
so the sji ppl and lewis went up and did the dance...
damn fun...
then they change song then started freestyle...
i just felt like doing my thing so i did...
everyone was like...wow...
sort of...
yah then they kept bringing me back in to dance...
my phone dropped out of my pocket twice...
(lucky wei chong lent me his belt or my pants would have dropped...)
then they played some banglah song...
then everyone did the "screw the light bulb pat the dog" thing....
then i,inspired by the rudolph carol(rudolph the red-nosed reindeer(reindeer),had a very shiny nose(like a light bulb).....you go down in history(like a light bulb)(like a light bulb)
i started chanting like a light bulb...
then everyone started shouting it...
was prob enough to ditsturb the neighbours...
at least it was before 9...
lol that was MEGA fun...
after that went to ping ping's house
and carolled...
nothing much happened there...
then end of camp...
so sad...
when i got home i cld only see ppl from the camp...
whenever i close my eyes i'd see ppl from camp...
or maybe i was really tired then...
i K.O.ed last night...
slept for 12 hours...
then i got up then suddenly psp tried to intro me to jasmine...
who didn't know who i was...
relived the camp a bit...
soo sad darryl wasn't there... =(
oh well...
it was still fun and i probably won't forget it...
