alright,
today i pwned school whole day.
cos' i had to go for canoeing contact time since i had MC last time
so...i went with sec 1s,
class 106.
morning, before assembly, waited in the canteen.
then got on the bus.
listened music on new phone on the bus,
discovered that one part of Through The Fire And Flames is really ownage...
and then reached the adventure centre, near changi airport(or so i think..)
one discovery kinda stunned me,
WE WERE FREAKING AT THE OPEN SEA!!
wtf?
holy crap.
open sea??
yikes
and then we went for briefing, and this guy from 106 called Joel
talked to me a bit and we ended up being partners
(not coincidental though...)
so...then but on Personal Floatation Devices
just one problem with the personal floatation devices,
its not personal!!
okay don't mind me just being random.
ahem.
so we dragged(ahem i mean CARRIED)
the kayaks(apparently it's a kayaking course not a canoeing course)
oh forgot to mention.
while we were having briefing...
A STORM WAS FREAKING GOING ON!!
insane man....
and i was like: we're going out in THAT!?
it cleared up though...
so off we went...
however, since my buddy Joel is a sailor(sailing CCA)
he had to help get ppl in the kayaks, and wait for mr teo to dispatch...
this, obviously, meant I also had to help with it and so we were last to dispatch.
first we had to report to mr tahil far away at the yellow buoy.
then, go three times anti-clockwise around a big triangle marked by three buoys.
well, alright, fair enough.
i overestimated the current.
the way mr nathan was going on about the current it was like we had to use every last ounce of strength to battle against it..
turns out it didn't affect us that much...
still,it WAS a bit affecting us...
oh, and on our first round,
joel wanted to wash the kayak,
so, against my pleas...
did an unofficial capsize drill...
freak....
anyway finished our rounds(i think faster than anyone else)
then went to mr tahil, who told us three rounds back clockwise direction...
again, finished it. done(this would seem very fast to you, reading it, but you bet it was hell'a lot longer in the water)
yea...we two seemed to be able to work together very well, got a kind of system whereby he'd give timings some of the time to keep in sync...
so we finished the total of SIX rounds the fastest.
back to mr tahil.
i thought that was the last exercise we would need to do before capsize drill(the ACTUAL thing)
but we still had to do 360(degree) turns around each buoy and then get back to the start buoy...
sianz...
so that was done.
then went back to mr tahil(we were the first to complete everything, despite being the last to dispatch)
he told us to stay inside the triangle and PRACTICE...
wth like i'd want to do MORE work...
but we did practice e-brake...
then came raft up time.
rafted, but then the guy let go of the buoy he was supposed to hang onto....
so we drifted off and had to paddle back again...
this time I held to buoy....
this made us the last to go for capsize drill test...
actually we were quite fast..
other pairs were taking like 5- 7 minutes.
i think we took like 2.
no joke.
(it's not MEANT to be a joke anyway....if it's wrong)
actually i enjoyed it!
not like i'm the kind of super-adventurous hyper-active kinda guy who loves the outdoors...
but it was fun paddling around, working together with your partner... heading for the next destination.
not to mention it'd be useful for ACE camp...
alright, so i made a new friend, and i'm surprised i kinda "clicked" with the sec 1s,
you know...communication...
yah...okay.
then we sat for an MCQ test on kayaking
(which i'd already taken before during one of the P.E. lessons)
o.O
lol and it was like exactly the same test...
after that we just waited for the bus...
(it was only 2+, more than an hour earlier than it said it would finish in the consent form)
yah...okay
that's all that happened during the "canoeing" contact time.

kay, let me think back to yesterday's events...
woke up went for mass at 9 (with parents)
then went to drop my brother off for soccer tournament
then went with my dad to have breakfast...
at swensens(i'm SO going to swensens. that's their new slogan lol)
then went....to...
the starhub shop....to....
buy.....
a new pair of earphones...

NAH! JUST KIDDING!! =P
i bought a new PHONE!! YAY!!
using a $150 voucher that my parents got hold of using the starhub plan or smth like that...
i don't even know what plan my phone is on! .......
they chose a phone that would require them to pay a balance of $0.
with the voucher...
still...it's better than my old phone...
which as i've mentioned is 4 -5 years old...
anyway...
from compass point took MRT to hougang to meet Yong Han and his brother,
kevin was late.......
so yong han and his bro and i went to a games shop at hougang bus interchange to wait for him.
then he came up behind us.
i saw him in the reflection in the window.
i say "hi kevin!"
yong han goes "where? where?"
i say "behind you"
kevin taps yong han on the shoulder
yong han jumps like 10 feet in the air.
later explanation:
"i thought you were joking when you said you saw kevin"

then had lunch, while watching national geographic...
afterwards went down to games room to play pool.
yong han and i had played before.
kevin had never been near a pool table.
so first kevin and i warm up and yong han and his brother play table tennis with a cracked ball.
needless to say didn't turn out so well.
so we played a proper match.
first paired up and played stripes and solids.
me, yong han and kevin, yong jin
so...
yong jin not good, didn't play.
yong han, obsessed with my DS game, didn't play much.
...kevin won.
he's like a natural.

then played free for all, one on one on one.
kevin and i were up 3 a piece.
yong han had a grand total of: zero
zilch; nada; kosong; zinger.
then end of game:

it's the weekend today
those of you who got no life and watch commercials all day long may realise the title is the same as the advertisment for a newspaper.......
anyway it's true...yay the weekend is here finally after scouts.
scouts was totaly slack today...
whole time sit in LT2...had total defense test and then marcus png talked to us about venturing and rovering (senior scouts)
yay. didn't even have to bring uniform =)
after training was bugging prospammer...yeah...
he thinks i'm weird...and who could blame him?

cos that's his email.
yeah i'm a weird guy.
but you should have seen his reaction when i said "prospammer@hotmail.com" to him.
it was so funny it just compelled me to call him prospammer.

that will be my new email btw when i change.

wei chong is a freaking noob... =P
i swear wei chong is a total noob...
after school supposedly had YCS...even went for mass in case wang wen was there...
went twenty minutes late.thanks to kevin and julian... -.-
didn't have much else after that...(were in time for gospel reading)
so went back to canteen since "YCS room" was locked, found darryl who thought mass hadn't ended yet...
then went to room, found out is WAS unlocked after all...lol
then waited...and waited...and waited
(wei chong,ivan and gregory came along soon)
still no teacher... lol sianz
went outside to try a little somthing(breakdancing of course) and darryl stole my phone and put it in my bag...
anyway at 3.10 we decided: meeting cancelled.
and darryl and wei chong wanted to come over to my grandma's house... -.- again
ivan wanted to come along too...but turned out it was too late for him...
so...here's an interesting thing...
darryl and i tried ditching them many times...failed.
first off went to Esso so darryl could pay me back the doughnut.
wei chong ended up paying though =)
then i snuck out of esso and waited(darryl had my bag with him as ransom)
saw them walking around the OTHER side of Esso cos' darryl had told them i'd gone toilet...though he'd seen me go the other way...so he actually knew where i was.
i didn't know that though at the time so i followed them around Esso(i though THEY were going to pang seh me!)
then darryl turned around as they rounded a corner,put his finger to his lips(shhh) and ran off in the other direction,i followed after a while to figure out what was going on.
lol they caught on though and ran after us.
(darryl was still laughing:"you fell for it!!")
then went to Tanglin to buy my F&N Grape...

alright guys,today i'm finally gonna backtrack to the RGS and SCGS campfires,where me and my buddy ocy performed.
RGS CAMPFIRE:
for this performancewe wore our scout uniform -.- yeah...
well we started off like this:
ocy takes center stage,i'm off to the left
ocy: how's everybody feeling today??
crowd:
ocy: everybody go "yea-ea"
crowd: yea-eah
ocy: everybody go "yo-yoh"
crowd: yo-yoh
ocy: now everybody go (he does a beat...i forgot what it was)
crowd:
i enter from the side and make another beat: i think it went: t b t b k t b t b k smth like that.
crowd:
ocy does a beat, crowd screams again
i do a beat, crowd screams AGAIN (yes it was an enthu crowd...nearly all campfires are like that -.-)
now...i hit the air,like i'm hitting a drum.
ocy goes: b (as in beatbox b, which sounds like "puh" or smth like that...difficult to explain without sound)
i hit again, he makes the sound again.
so i hit and he makes the beat for mai hum: b q(clicking tongue) k(sounds like "kee",but like the end sound of "check") b "kah" k t(sounds like "teh"...also difficult to explain exactly...) t, b "kah" k b "kah" k
and i sing(yes i sung): mai hum mai hum, mai hum mai hum mai hum
crowd starts screaming and shouting again
then after once,i switch with ocy,i make the beat.
he sings in a really high-pitched voice...mai hum mai hum,mai hum mai hum mai hum
the crowd laughs and cheers
then ocy hums the tune to "numb" by linkin park: hm hm hm hm, k, hm hm
i add at the end: b t b k t t b t t b k t t t

then at the end of their performance,they did freestyle...

yikes...so go figure we got sorta...well...kinda...in a way....P3WNED
this might be the reason ocy doesn't want to perform anymore....
c'mon ocy don't be discouraged!! we don't have to perform to win any prize just perform for the love of it...
and the thrill of performing!!

why is this relevant?

i forgot how we started off
(weird i forgot more about this performance than the RGS,even though this one was more recent...must be getting old...=P)
so we did "low", ocy going: na nuh,na nuh nuh, na nuh nuh, na nuh nuh
(smth like the beginning tune)
and i start singing: shawty had them apple bottom jeans boots with the fur...
the whole club was looking at her...she hit the floor,next thing ya know, shawty got low(x8)
them baggy sweat pants.......and so on until the last word of the chorus, guess what it is??
ans: "low" -.-
unfortunately...the mike i was using was kinda soft so the crowd couldn't hear properly...
this is the cause of the problems
so on we go to do everybody dance now
ocy goes: bh, bh, bh bh, bh, bh, bhbh, bh, bh, bh bh, bh, bh, bhbh
i go in a high-pitched voice: everybody dance now!
yeah...so that's what we did.
finale:
ocy puts down the mike.
i squat next to the mike and....

(somehow the crowd underreacted(by my expectations) to my baby freeze...i dunno why)
and so we end off...
then off stage ocy goes: "shit lah your mike too soft sia"
me: "i was going to take the center mike but you took it instead:

and then blames himself for it...
in the end we didn't get best performance....
ocy says we lost to a bhangra dance...
cos' well that's what it was...

YCS Anniversary Day
today was YCS anniversary,held at montfort sec.
reached there like 10.10 or smth like that...
darryl was calling me cos' he had nothing to do while waiting....
met gabriel goh there too...
the thing started late so darryl and i wandered around to begin with...
more retarded conversations between us as you probably expect(refering to previous post)
finally it started,with the kai hui jing
smth unexpxected was the intitiation rites...
wei chong was supposed to go and be intitiated...
but HE WAS LATE LOL cos' of some sjab thing...
ended up missing it altogether...
HAHA JACK!!!
then wei chong came(after it was all over) =D
then had icebreakers...
wei chong had to do forfeit HAH...
the "banana dance" :
LOLS!!
so we had games after that...and separated into groups.
i was in the same group as wei chong and ivan!! hooray.!
First Game:
each member from the group must run to the end,pick up a marshmallow with mouth,then burst balloon on chair by sitting on it.
CATCH: before it even started we could see two things:
1.the balloons had ketchup in them!!
2.the marshmallows were covered with flour.
i was like: NOOO!! i didn't bring extra pants!!onli shirt...NNOO!!!
two letters : GG.
so...when it was my turn i ran and got a marshmallow...
it was SICK(in a bad way)
there were like a lot of extra ingredients...
like say pepper,i think ketchup and don't forget the flour...
then (against my better judgement) sat on the balloon..
...

...
FLUSH.
didn't get a chance to see how bad it looked...cos' i threw myself down and slid on the grass to try to erase the ketchup...
might have made it a lot worse...don't care...
in the end our group lost...Hargh...
Second Game:
pour condensed milk from cup to cup from first person to next
CATCH: can only use mouth...
if anyone has not seen or does not know what condensed milk is(like me)
just know that it's the opposite of "runny"
so there's the problem...(besides the oh so unimportant fact that we can only use our mouths)
yea managed it though...Stephanie(girl from YCS i met at music fest) was like saying:
"make out! lol" when i was passing the milk...

Third Game:
captain's ball
CATCH: use of WATERBALLOONS as compared to standard ball.in case you don't know...there brings a problem cos' well,water balloons tend to burst when they're thrown and caught...and the thing about water balloons is...well...they have water in them.which should let you know the problem...(srry but i feel like condescending today,don't be insulted =))
we lost the game too...to put it briefly
you may just have noticed a SLIGHT similarity among YCS games.
yep,they all have a CATCH...

ended up missing it altogether...

First Game:
each member from the group must run to the end,pick up a marshmallow with mouth,then burst balloon on chair by sitting on it.
CATCH: before it even started we could see two things:
1.the balloons had ketchup in them!!
2.the marshmallows were covered with flour.
i was like: NOOO!! i didn't bring extra pants!!onli shirt...NNOO!!!
two letters : GG.
so...when it was my turn i ran and got a marshmallow...
it was SICK(in a bad way)
there were like a lot of extra ingredients...
like say pepper,i think ketchup and don't forget the flour...
then (against my better judgement) sat on the balloon..

didn't get a chance to see how bad it looked...cos' i threw myself down and slid on the grass to try to erase the ketchup...
might have made it a lot worse...don't care...
in the end our group lost...Hargh...
Second Game:
pour condensed milk from cup to cup from first person to next
CATCH: can only use mouth...
if anyone has not seen or does not know what condensed milk is(like me)
just know that it's the opposite of "runny"
so there's the problem...(besides the oh so unimportant fact that we can only use our mouths)
yea managed it though...Stephanie(girl from YCS i met at music fest) was like saying:
"make out! lol" when i was passing the milk...

Third Game:
captain's ball
CATCH: use of WATERBALLOONS as compared to standard ball.in case you don't know...there brings a problem cos' well,water balloons tend to burst when they're thrown and caught...and the thing about water balloons is...well...they have water in them.which should let you know the problem...(srry but i feel like condescending today,don't be insulted =))

YCS birthday cake! i learned that YCS is 52 years old...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
after singing happy birthday(i didn't catch who the happy birthday was addressed to,though i assume they sang YCS) they cut a BIG chunk out and gave each school to finish it up...without forks(hey since when did EATING have a catch????)
so came about my most barbaric eating in a while(or possibly ever)...
ser peng was smearing cream on his face for some reason....helped him take photo but i don't have it =(
then came more games and stuff...like charades and all that...

oh yah,and sometime during the day saw one guy trying to do flares,and (the same guy i think) doing INSANE headstands...kicking legs and spinning,even did no hand spin...sianz when can i do that????argh...(interesting though didn't know there were other bboys in YCS,thought only arthur)
after the whole anniversary was over...i went LAN for the second time in my life...
with gabriel and darryl and wei chong...
played CS cos' i didn't know how to play DOTA...(hey i'm not a LANner...i prefer spamming ps3 anyday)
i'm still a noob at CS though so didn't do so well...
got a few kills...(more than wei chong ha!)darryl and gabriel were the pro ones though...
and the last level they were teamed against wei chong and i...
and wei chong attacked me for FUN...

today bio paper!
seemed a breeze to me...
i finished in twenty minutes, which is half of the total time...
i remember last time i finished a paper with loads of time to spare...
FLASHBACK!!
finished a maths paper with i think 40minutes to go...
after checking still had a LOONNGG way to wait till paper ended.
so what do i do?
i first start off with finding what 365452434 multiplied by 83427 is.
(manually,the long way.)(that's not the actual values,but they're somewhat close)
got the answer(after exam found out it was wrong though...=(... )
then i pondered over (x+y)squared...
then on to (x+y)cubed...
then on to (x+y)to the power of four...
then on to (x+y)to the power of five...
and yes even on to (x+y)to the power of SIX
after that still had time...
so i figure...what the heck?
do (x-y)squared...
do (x-y)cubed...
so on until to the power of four...
(x-y is more difficult to do than x+y)
=P
see? oh and btw for that paper i got 99...proof that i'm a genius!! =)
i wrote a rhyme about it that starred as my msn personal for a while:

whether it's exams or not i'm just happy-go-lucky...

my wrists were hurting like hell immediately after it...and my arms were freaking tired...
but it wore off quickly...i hope this means my wrists are getting stronger...

cos' i called him SHB again...
lol i just wanted him to perform with me...just once more...to relive the moments when we got applause
from the crowd...the joy of performing...the fun of rehearsing and coming up with songs/beats...
remember that ocy?that is the true spirit of beatboxing...(i not sure but that probably is)

another day of exams
today i went to school at about 6.30(am if you're not sure)
that's about half an hour earlier than usual.
wow the track was like totaly dark...
so i went to the canteen first.
ser peng came and he looked tired....
though it was early... -.-
so,went to track and found four other guys there alrdy,
at like 6.40??those guys always come to school this early??
anyway today was lit...
unseen poem...so didn't have to study! =D
yay.
was kinda okay...but the poem was a bit...well...abstract...
not sure...ah never mind.
it's over that's all i know =)
quick run down of days lessons
bio,then lit,recess,then history,then maths,then mother tongue
too lazy to give you a description of everything =P
after school went to yong han's house to study bio...
on the bus darryl called me, and yong han picked up.
a minute of darryl being confused by the multiple 'justins' later...
i was the one actually talking to him.
darryl: where are you?
me: in a bus.
darryl: why you taking bus?
me: a few reasons:
1. cos' where i'm going is too far for me too walk.
2. taxi is too expensive
3. i am too young to have a driver's liscence
4. i can't afford a nissan skyline which is the only car i'll ever drive
darryl: good point. WHY NEVER WAIT FOR ME??
me: six reasons:
1. you were too slow
2. i was too fast
3. you were later than me
4. i was earlier than you
5. i'm not going the same way as you
6. you're not going the same way as me.
darryl:...okay bye.
ha another lame conversation between darryl and i.
at yong han's house, were supposed to study bio.
WE DID alright?
surprisingly i was the one who wanted to study more,
despite the fact that,well,i don't care about studying...=P
practised six step to baby freeze when i was bored.
starting to get the hang of it...i think...i hope... =(

he keeps trying to combine the third and fourth step...
and i showed him the 'whip' style...which he was not doing........
not to be condescending or anything...but seeing yong han's six step
made me feel better about my own footwork

nothing much after i got back...yong han didn't send me the vids...cos' he not online...waah...i want those vids... T_T

so i shall post a few from enrichment day...where we went to...

am i dead??
today we started off with history paper...
quite okay,though had problems with first few questions...
(actually i don't really care now cos it's over)
we had com studies after that,so luckily i brought my casette.
the funniest thing happened while filming.
we had like 30 minutes,and no props
so we filmed the "dead people after war" scene.
moses group joined us and helped as extra dead people.
and moses was smiling even though he was supposed to be dead.
yah...dead people tend not to be smiling,especially if they were killed by
enemies...
not the funny part.
for my role as dead person i was supposed to lie dead at the stairwell,
so i do just that.
then i hear a voice going:
"boy,what are you doing?"
i try to continue my role but the voice asks again:
"what are you doing?"
(no,i'm NOT dead...and the voice isn't god or anything like that)
just so happens a teacher's coming down the stairs and sees me lying there...
and yeah i just HAPPEN to be pretending to be dead...
so you can imagine.
anyway i got up and he was still asking:"boy what are you doing?"
i went like: uh...video editing
he goes: "oh,sorry i didn't realise,you gave me a shock"
like, LOL??
would make a good blooper except kevin didn't film it... =(
after that english...why would you care, actually??i mean seriously, no offense to anyone but why would you want to know every single detail of my school and life??
then again...it is a blog....i dunno...ah well
recess,my breakdance time.
before next period starts i head back to class,and karthik happens to be going that way too(not that that's surprising,what's surprising is he's going at the same time as me)
so,back at class,i hand my wallet to karthik and practice handstands...
(which i cannot do properly)
and also the ever elusive(for me) SIX STEP TO BABY FREEZE...using the correct method as taught by matthias.

then guitar...
i got the song al right,but we learned the base,which well kinda worried me cos' my blister hasn't quite healed yet...(no thanks to nicholas)
then came maths,
and we got our results back! o.O
as i said,mrs khoo marks FAST...
anyway,i got 31.5 out of 40...
which is 78.125,an A1.
yay.
leaving school with darryl,met...ocy!
he was going esso so i went along and bought doughnuts.
darryl,being the good loyal friend that he is,tagged along too.
then walking to the bus stop...

i figured...since we missed the bus why not take the long way
to the road junction and cross instead of the overhead bridge
darryl followed me...
then he went why not go to the bus stop further down?
me: ...uh...no thanks
in the end as we reach the road junction we see the bus coming...
darryl asks me to go BACK to the bus stop we would have taken originally.
i wait for the light to go to the other bus stop cos' i don' want to waste my effort walking there then walking back to the bus stop in that direction...
like: go <, then go ^(across the road),then go >(back to the bus stop)
when we could have gone just ^ cross the road via overhead bridge
so i move on to the bus stop further that way.< ...and we miss a second bus... darryl gets pissed at me... so we walk to the bus stop further down... and wait... lol yes we both no life... =P and darryl admitted NEW FOUND GLORY is not so bad... though it ROCKS reach back my grandma's house,again spam ps3 then went home....... hey...tomorrow's lit,why bother studying when it's unseen?? like...duh no point that's all... oh and i'd like to give some props to ocy... you've got a great sense of humour man...though it's a retarded and lame one... don't let one bad result get you down...it's not right to have a humourless ocy =) (no this is not an attempt to butter you up so you will accept my invitation to perform with me for next year's music fest...) though i'd appreciate it if you did =)

TA3 begins...
found out early this morning it was maths today...
yay!as long as it's not history...
anyway the maths paper was quite easy...
no real problems...
though i got maybe 2 questions wrong...
not like me to see how many marks i lost so i don't really care =P
after maths paper was PE!?
i thot no pe so didn't bring pe....
noooo detention!!! waah
tried to do pull ups,but obviously i CAN'T...
duh...im like 60kg
not that strong okae?
bio was something about xylem for practical...
weird the test is on fri and we're doing practical??
okay...
got goosebumps when mr tan showed us the xylem tubes...
dunno why...i just get goosebumps sometimes when i see weird things
(wei chong's face is one example) =P
after reccess(nothing much),RME,then maths lesson
turns out mrs khoo alrdy marked a bit of the paper,

only took like 10minutes though...
after that met darryl queing at the photocopy shop.
then matthias came along...

asked him about six step to baby,then he asked ian to show me...
went to pull up bars,he taught me the method(proper)
he said i should stop doing the noob method of baby
(not my fault...i didn't even learn from anybody,or anyTHING,i just heard arthur saying support yr leg with your elbow last YCS march camp,then i just tried and i learned it) HA beat that!try learning without any tutoring but just something you heard from someone......
i was like...ow,i bruised my hip....waah
went back with darryl,
talking crap the whole way,
sent him more dragonforce songs...

reached grandma house,spammed ps3
today one of those rare days i come back earlier than my bro...
side info:
i go to my grandma's house everyday after school,
then i go home in the evening,
so,my ps3 is at my grandma's house,my com is at my own house...
went back at like 8,which is kinda late...

should include a dictionary or smth to let ppl who don't know me at all

cos' i use some random terms that might not register with one's normal perspective of "normal"
